Professional Gelato Training From Advanced Gourmet

This past weekend, we went to a training session in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Advanced Gourmet’s Headquarters to learn all about the art of gelato making. We are so excited to whip up delicious flavors of gelato and sorbet for all of you based on what we learned!

Advanced Gourmet is one of the industry leaders for Italian gelato equipment and Italian modular counters, and we trained firsthand with one of their corporate chefs, Ryne Leonard. These folks really know their stuff and create amazing flavors like Raspberry Sorbetto and Caramel with Sea Salt (my favorite) and Hazelnut (Lauren’s favorite).

One of the most exciting parts of our two days of training was the realization that the sky is the limit when it comes to creative gelato and sorbet flavors that we can produce for our customers. Advanced Gourmet even showed us how to create innovative recipes such as incorporating an IPA craft beer flavor into the sorbetto recipe, and we can’t wait to serve up this and other inventive concoctions
